Encouraging Hackney Central businesses to be part of circular economy
Hackney Council wants to involve, support and enable local businesses to accelerate the shift to a zero-carbon world.
One of the opportunities we are exploring is how we can involve, support and enable businesses in Hackney Central to be part of the circular economy.
Together with local businesses, we created a programme of support that intends to:
build a knowledge network
provide pathways to problem solving
inspire a wider audience.
As part of this programme, we’re inviting you to join us at our series of Circular Economy Lunch and Learns.
Whether you’re a business that has a circular economy plan or you’ve just started thinking about how your business could become circular, these sessions will aim to discuss specific topics that businesses felt would be most beneficial to continuing their circular journey.
Programme:

Our guest speaker, Fergal Byrne from the Carbon Trust will focus on how to measure outputs and use data to inform a circular strategy. He will provide with both qualitative and quantitative methods to empower local businesses to understand better their impact.
