Free series to help businesses develop resilience
With an increasing cost of doing business creating a new set of challenges, developing business resilience has never been more important. That’s why we have partnered with Newable to fully-fund the ‘Hackney Building Business Resilience Series’ - a five part virtual-event series to help eligible micro and small businesses in the London Borough of Hackney adapt and grow through challenges.
Cllr Guy Nicholson, Cabinet Member for Planning, Culture and the Inclusive Economy, said “the Hackney Building Business Resilience series is a programme of virtual business workshops, designed and led by business for business. The series is designed to advise local businesses in all sectors to meet today's trading challenges driven by rising costs whilst identifying and taking advantage of growth opportunities.”
The series has been shaped by ongoing workshops run by the Council with businesses in the borough as part of our wider business support programme. Each event will explore different ways to future-proof your business against uncertainty, covering topics such as cost saving strategies, managing suppliers effectively, employee morale and growing through e-commerce and international sales.
Sessions:
Navigate Rising Energy and Operational Costs
Achieve Value Through Managing Your Suppliers
Optimise Workplace Costs and Staff Morale
Drive Business Growth Through e-Commerce
Grow Your Business Through International Sales
By understanding what resilience looks like for your business you can develop the skills needed to not only survive through challenges, but adapt and grow.
