If you're hosting a Black History Season event in Hackney between 1 October and 8 December 2022 - let us help you promote your event for free in our Black History Season calendar of events.

Our Black History Season programme is promoted:

  • Weekly through the Council's What's On guide email to residents

  • In Love Hackney magazine - which goes out to 120,000 homes and businesses in the borough.

  • On 60 JCDecaux bus stop advertisements

  • Through a multi-platform social media campaign

We know Hackney's local organisations, artists, businesses and community groups will have brilliant and creative ideas on how to celebrate and enrich our Black history.
